Eve let out a sigh and turned to Julian, "I’ll go and come back when she’s gone."
Julian’s frown got larger. "What did she do to you?" He asked. "She didn’t harm you did she?"
Jasolyn let out a chuckle. "Julian give me a little credit. We just talked. Isn’t that right Dr. Russell?" She said turning to Eve giving her a evil glare.
Eve shook her head. "Your daughter just doesn’t believe we should be speaking. Seeing how Chad is now grown." Eve explained.
Julian groaned. "I’m sure that wasn’t the word’s she used. She had to be colder than that." He sighed.
Eve just looked at the girl then back at Julian. "Don’t worry about it Julian. I can take care of myself."
Jasolyn smiled. "Yes father Dr. Russell is right. Besides I’m as harmless as a fly. "
"A killer fly maybe." Julian told her. "So why are you here Jasolyn? Is it the divorce? Or Chad. It has to be one of the two."
"Why would she be in town about our son? " Eve said her eye’s moving from Jasolyn to Julian and then back again. Finally she looked at Jasolyn. " You’re not here because of Chad are you?" She asked arching her eyebrow.
"I actually did come here to meet my new brother. And of course Theresa." She explained. "Yes, I just had to see who this new Crane was. "
"Have you already saw him?" Julian quizzed as he walked over to stand beside Eve.
"Yes. I met Chad, and Theresa also. Lovely pair those two." She smirked.
"What did you say to him Jasolyn? What did you say to Chad?" Julian repeated not noticing Eve as she looked up at him.
"I just welcomed him into the family. Relax, we talked and then I left." The girl sighed.
Eve watched in amazement at how Julian seemed to be standing up for their son. She couldn’t believe he’d do that, not with one of his other children at least. "My son, what did he think of you?" Eve asked Jasolyn.
"I’m sure he loved me. Doesn’t everyone." She asked tossing her hair from her face. How dare her father and this woman treat her this way. She was a Crane since birth and her father acted as if she had just went in and murdered his darling Chad.
Julian shook his head. "Jasolyn have you saw your mother yet?"
"Her? No. But I will. I wanted to see you first daddy." She said sweetly batting her eyes at him.
"Cut the act child. What are you up too?" Julian asked looking at Eve. "And you better tell me now." He added sternly.

"Eve isn’t answering her phone. And she’s not in her office either. Where could she be Resa?" Chad asked as Theresa began to smile.
"Try her cell." She told him.
Chad shook his head. "She didn’t answer it either. She must be busy." He sighed a hint of disappointment in his voice.
Theresa couldn’t fight the smile that had found it’s way to her lips. "You are just so cute." She laughed.
"Cute huh? I can’t find my mother and you think it’s cute?" He asked moving his hand across his hair. Where was his mother? Why couldn’t he find Eve Russell.
Theresa walked over to him and smiled. "Your mother. You like the ring of that don’t you Chad? Calling Eve Mom?"
Chad shrugged. "I haven’t thought about it really. Just seems so natural."
"That’s because it is sweetheart. She is your mom, and Julian, he’s your dad. Nothing wrong with saying it out loud " Theresa explained.
"I know. I’ve wanted this my whole life. You know my family. And I have it now. " He told her putting his arms around her waist. He still couldn’t get over how beautiful Theresa was. She was more than he had ever deserved.
"But you look worried." Theresa questioned.
"Something is bound to go wrong Resa. Think about it, I’m close to having my dream life, no way can it be this easy for me. Never has been."
Theresa frowned. "Or for me either."
"So I’m saying, something’s going to go wrong. I just feel it."
Theresa looked up at Chad, putting her hands on his face she smiled. "Well I’m not going anywhere. So you don’t have to worry about that. Let’s enjoy the life we have. If something happens we’ll figure it out together. Your not alone anymore Chad. You’ll never be alone again. " She promised as he leaned down and kissed her forehead.
"I’m so lucky to have you Theresa. " He smiled watching as her lips turned into a cute grin, one that meant she was usually up to something.
"Gosh Chad. Your going to make a girl blush." Theresa teased in a soft voice.
He laughed. "I love you, silly head." He said kissing her.
"I know that." Theresa giggled. "And I love you too." She sighed as his lips met hers again.
A knock at Chad’s door forced him to pull away from Theresa. "Maybe that’s my mom." He grinned running to his door.
Theresa laughed shaking her head, he was like a small child waiting on his mommy to come home. She thought to herself as he flung open the door.
"Oh. Hey Sheridan." Chad said looking at his new aunt. Disappointment spread on his face, as he wondered just where his mother was.
"What a warm welcome Chad." Sheridan laughed.
Chad shook his head. "I’m so sorry Sheridan, I thought you were Eve." He admitted. "I mean my mom." He smiled shyly.
"I figured that much. Don’t worry about it." Sheridan smiled.
"Sheridan, what are you doing here?" Theresa asked walking over with a smile on her face.
"Well I came to talk to you two about Julian and Eve."
"Really? Did he say something? Did Julian tell you that he’s in love with my mom?" Chad began to ramble.
Theresa let out a small laugh. "Chad. Give her time to speak sweetie."
"Sorry." Chad grinned.
"Anyway, I had a talk with my brother, and to answer your question’s Chad." Sheridan smiled. "I do think Julian has feelings for Eve."
"Did he say it?" Chad questioned.
"Well, no." Sheridan sighed. "But there’s this look in his eye." Sheridan frowned. "He doesn’t believe he deserves to be loved."
"That’s just crazy. Of course he should be loved." Chad sighed.
Sheridan smiled. "I agree. But Julian just doesn’t feel that way. There’s a sadness in his eyes. I can’t explain it. He’s a lonely man. But when I talk about your mother he becomes distance. Like he’s thinking."
"He’s remembering." Theresa noted looking at both of them. "He still remembers how he felt back then." She smiled.
Chad and Sheridan both nodded, agreeing with Theresa. "I feel so bad for him." Chad sighed. "He belongs with my mother."
Sheridan smiled. "I’ve been giving that a lot of thought myself. And though I know Luis will protest at first. I must say I agree. Watching Julian when he talked about Eve, made me see that you two just might be right."
Theresa looked up at Chad then back at Sheridan, "So what are you saying Sher? Are you going to help us?" She asked as a grin formed on her face and her eyes got bright. "Are you in?"
Sheridan laughed. " I want my brother to be happy."
"So? You’ll help us? " Chad repeated his girlfriend’s question.
Sheridan stood silent for a moment, wondering just what her husband would say about this. "Yes." She answered simply.
"Your in?" Theresa said making sure she was hearing right.
"I’m in." Sheridan nodded as Chad quickly grabbed his aunt and hugged her. "You won’t regret this." He laughed.
"Say that after I tell Luis." She laughed. Knowing she was doing the best thing, for her brother, and her nephew.
