~*Have You Ever Been In Love*~
*~Prologue~*

Los Angeles

Fox sat by the pool admiring Whitney as she talked to Chad on the phone. He had managed to have Chad called into work on her birthday. Whitney had hoped that Chad would be in home in time for her party that Fox had planned throwing her, but it didn't look as if that was going to happen anytime soon.

"I really wish you were going to be home in time for the party, Chad", Whitney told Chad as she brushed back the hair coming in her face.

"Listen baby...I'm really sorry. I'll make it up to you. But you know how much this means to me." Chad responded as he looked on as Sydney was about to start recording another one of his songs.

"I know, but this isn't the first time this has happened Chad..."

"...I'm sorry Baby. I'm really sorry. Listen, I have to go. Syd wants to lay down another track. I'll see you later on tonight."

"Okay, I guess that's fine. I love you Chad."

"Me too baby", he told her reassuringly and hung up his cell phone.

Fox realized that now this was his chance, and continue to drive the wedge between Whitney and her supposed Prince Charming.

"Whitney, what's the matter?" Fox asked as he took a seat beside her.

"Nothing, it's just that Chad won't be home for my birthday after all" Whitney replied turning towards him.

"I can fix that for you."

"Really Fox, but how?"

"How does 2 front row tickets sound to a matinee screening of Sunset Blvd, and then dinner back here, made by yours truly?"

"Fox...I don't know how to begin to thank you..."

"I know how you can.." Fox thought to himself, and said, "You don't need to. It's my pleasure."

Harmony

Dr. Russell had just finished her latest shift, and was heading home to rest before her date with TC that night. She hated the fact TC was angry with her on how she gave their daughter the blessings to go to Los Angeles with Chad. She had hoped by now that he'd seen by now that she did the right thing for her.

It was only then she realized something. Today was Whitney's 21st birthday. No wonder TC wanted to go out tonight, she thought to herself. She sighed, and wondered if TC had even called their daughter in L.A. to wish her 'Happy Birthday', but with TC's temper and resentment., she knew that it didn't happen.

She longed to talk to Julian about Whitney. Julian was the only one who understood why Eve had to send her daughter to L.A., and knew she was safe with his son. As she approached the door to the house; she looked up in the darkened sky and thought out loud, "I still love you Julian. I don't know what I'd do without you."

With those very words, Liz gleefully smiled to herself. She finally had a taped confession of her sister revealing something that could be the last piece to the puzzle of breaking up Eve and TC for good.
