Ty cleared a table of mugs and plates at the Book Cafe, trying unsuccessfully to forget last nights events, when Chad came through the door. Eyeing him, Ty quickly turned around seeing the determined look on Chad's face. 'Did Simone tell him?' Ty thought.

"Hey Ty." Chad said coming up behind him.

"Chad, hey, what's up? You don't work this shift do you?" Ty asked turning around to face him.

"No I don't. Listen, I know you know Simone Russell and..."

"You do? How?" Ty asked, interrupting Chad.

"She told me. Anyway, you were at that party with her..."

"How do you know that?"

"She told me last night before she went. Now can I finish a sent-"

"So you haven't talked to her since the before the party last night?" Ty relaxed.

"No." Chad said obviously annoyed.

"Oh great, I mean, okay. Sorry."

"It's fine. Listen, I was wondering if you've seen Simone. I really need to talk to her."

"Well, did you call her house?" Ty said, going back to his previous mood.

"Yeah, but her mom said she was meeting Kay Bennett, and I thought they could have
been meeting here."

"Well, I haven't seen Kay either, but I'm guessing you find her, and you find Simone." Ty picked up the tray and started to walk away.

"Are you okay?" Chad asked.

"Yeah, why wouldn't you think I was?"

"You just don't seem to happy, kind of in a mad-at-the-world mood.

"Like you?" Ty said remembering his tone earlier. "Is that why you're looking for
Simone? To make your day better?"

"Something like that. So what's eating you?"

"I have a problem, I did something really stupid last night at the party." He paused for a second, rethinking what he was about to do, "I kissed a girl."

"Oh boy, and I thought I had problems." Chad said sarcastically.

"There's more to it. She has a boyfriend."

"Is it serious?"

"I think it's kind of new. And I've met him and she just doesn't seem like the type of girl
a guy like him would go for, which I don't think really matters all that much because she's completely into him and anyone who might have saw the way she practically bit my head off with all of the yelling and screaming could tell. So what do you think I should do?"

"Does she know how you feel?"

"I don't even know how I feel.

"Then why did you kiss her? Or more importantly, why are you letting her reaction get to
you so much?"

"I care about her. I really care about her."

"You know what, that's a step in the right direction. And I really need to get going. So I'll see you and I'm sure everything will work out great when you tell that to this girl." Chad said moving towards the door until Ty stopped him.

"Whoa, whoa, tell her?"

"Yes. Tell girl truth: good. Keep secret: bad. Believe me."

"Did you forget about the yelling and screaming, because I certainly haven't."

"Do you think she would've reacted that way if she wasn't feeling an ounce of what you feel for her?"

Ty stood in silence for a moment, thinking of everything Chad had just said.

"I really need to go find Simone. But good luck with getting this girl." Chad turned and walked out of the Book Cafe.

"Why, Chad, I think you've convinced me I won't need luck. You're practically inviting me to take your girlfriend. And I'm certainty not one to turn down and invitation.

Whitney sat down on the bed in Chad's old apartment going through the small box she had carried up with her. Inside, she had held all momentous she had gotten of Chad or them together. She had the picture of them at her senior prom and pictures of them at the Wedding Planner Charity Event, the ribbon and plaque they'd gotten when they tied with Ethan and Theresa for Harmony's Most Perfect Couples, and tapes of the songs Chad had always told her they lyrics said everything he felt for her.

Whitney would lie in bed at night and fall asleep listening to those tapes, which would embark her on passionate, romantic fairy tale dreams about Chad. Whitney's memories flooded back to her. Her and Chad. Dancing at the Charity Event. She looked down at the tape of that song and closed her eyes. She felt Chad's hands on her, pulling her closer to him, feeling him looking into her eyes. Whitney was so wrapped up in her sweet memories, she didn't even hear someone walk through the open door.

"Whitney."

Her eyes flew open and she realized where she was and looked over to see the person who interrupted her memories she missed so much.

"Hank. What are you doing here?" She asked, stuffing her items back into the box.

"I came here to get some of Chad's things for him." Hank said walking toward one of the boxes.

"You know where Chad is?" Whitney said anxiously hopping from the bed to Hank's side.

"Not at this moment." Hank lied. He didn't want to take the chance the Whitney will go and try to stop Chad from dropping the bomb on Simone and spoil a good opportunity for Chad.

"So you know where he's staying?"

"Yeah."

"Oh that's great!" What town did he go to? Boston? New York?"

"Town? Chad didn't leave Harmony."

"He didn't? Then, why is all of his stuff packed up? And he's not here."

"He moved out of here."

"Oh." Whitney sighed obviously relieved.

"He just moved across town, Whitney. It's a lot easier to get to from here than New York."

"It will be much more easier if you told me where it is." Whitney said, silently pleading Hank to tell her. Hank had no idea what to do. Should he tell her? If he didn't, there would be a good chance of her running into Chad and Simone somewhere in town. Well, Hank knew that was an easy choice.

"Harbor View Apartment. Room 136, second floor."

"Oh thank you!" Whitney said, grabbing her box and heading toward the door. "Wait until I find Simone and tell her. She's going to be so happy!"

"Uh oh." Hank said, he's eyes widening. "Whitney, wait!" he yelled for her, but it was too late. She was already gone.

"Hey Simone! What's so important it couldn't wait until after lunch?" Kay asked finding Simone at eh park down the street from the Russell house.

"Chad left Harmony." Simone said bursting into tears.

"Oh, when?" Kay asked, pulling her friend into a hug.

"Last night sometime after he and Whitney broke up for good."

"What? Okay just sit down here and tell me every single detail." Kay said taking an upset Simone's hands and guiding her to the bench nearby.

"Last night when I got home from the party, I was going to my room, when I overheard Whitney on the phone with Theresa and she was telling her that things were officially over between them. So he obviously didn't see any real good reason to star. Certainly not for me!"

Simone sobbed, "God, why does he love her so much? She doesn't deserve him. She doesn't know how to love him right. If Whitney really, truly loved Chad, she wouldn't let anything stop her from being with him. I know I wouldn't."

"Not even your little sister set out on revenge?"

"Oh revenge is exactly what this little sister is going to get. Chad is gone from Harmony so there's no point in waiting. Whitney is going to pray for a return to the day before she met Chad."

"Your confidence tells me you have a plan now." Kay said.

"That I do."

"Judging from your tone, all I have to say is, I hope this town is ready for the next sinister woman cause this one's played out." Kay said pointing to herself.

"You not scheming to get Miguel anymore?" Simone asked, shocked.

"I don't want to put a damper on your revenge plot, but I just realized it's a loss cause and though Miguel and I had our good times, I'm better off without him."

"I can't believe you're saying this."

"Yeah, but at least I got to kiss him. I will always remember those." Kay said, smiling.

"Oh, I know what you mean. The way his lips felt on mine. Ty has amazing lips."

"Who has amazing lips?" Kay asked, giving her friend a sly smile.

"T- Chad does." Simone said, finally realizing what she had said.

"Oh no, no, you said Ty has amazing lips. You know, you never told me what happened last night after I left you and Ty at the party."

"What makes you think something happened?"

"Well, you just said that a guy who I couldn't help but watch give you lovey dovey eyes last night has amazing lips. And you talked like you were talking from top lip experience." Kay said, smiling.

"Okay, he kissed me. It was nothing." Simone confessed.

"Oh yeah right! Now why not make a play for Ty? I mean he's so obviously into you."

Unlike Chad was." Simone said, frowning.

"Yes. On come one, I'm sorry, Simone, but you deserve to have a guy who wants you completely. Come on, you don't want to because a pathetic, naive girl like Laura on All My Children, now do you?"

"Of course not." Simone sighed, "Okay so Ty's completely hot! And the kiss was amazing!" Simone smiled, "Maybe Ty and I could have something together. Chad and I defiantly don't have a chance to now."

"Simone-"

"No, I was going to wait until I had Chad to deal with Whitney, but now that he's out of town, probably for good, it's no hold barred. I'm going to deal with Whitney the way I should have when I found out that lying bitch, I have the misfortune of having as a sister, had been lying to me for months. Pretending she cared about me when she stayed with me in the hospital all the time after I got hit by that car. And it all because she had a guilty conscious!"

The two were interrupted by the ringing of Kay's phone.

"Hello?" Kay said, answering it. "hey dad, what's going on? What, why? It's not even lunch yet, don't you think that's silly...okay, I'll be home soon. All right, well at least 10 minutes, I'm in the park with Simone. I'll tell her. I love you, too. Bye."

"What's going on? You have to leave?" Simone asked.

"My dad's at the police station, apparently some guy who kidnapped women, then raped and murdered them, escaped from the prison in Boston last week. The fax the station got said there have been a few supposed sittings of him and he's headed in our direction. So part of the curse of having a mix of an overprotective father and a father whose a cop, means I have a curfew of 12pm until the pervert's caught.

"Well, can I at least come over to Tabitha's with you?" Simone asked.

"Of course. We can practice defense moves in case the sicko's stupid enough to come to this town." Kay said, as the two walked out of the park.

"Oh my god." Whitney whispered quietly as she emerged from behind the high bushes where she had heard the words Simone had spoken.
