Three weeks had passed since Julian was brought to the hospital that day badly beaten and near death, and Eve never left his side. She had gotten to the hospital as fast as she could, and when she arrived, she rushed right over to Grace and Sam.

“How did this happen?” Eve sobbed.

“I don’t know honey.” Grace whispered in her ear as she held Eve close.

“I can’t lose him Grace, I can’t.”

Julian slowly opened his eyes to see where he was as he looked around the area. His body was killing him and his head hurt like hell. He was about to close his eyes again, when he noticed movement to the left of him.

“Eve…” Julian whispered in a hoarse voice.

“Yeah Julian, it’s me.” Eve said as she grabbed onto one of his hands and brought it to her lips.

“What are you doing here?”

“I haven’t left your side since you were brought here. What happened Julian?” Eve whispered.

Julian looked at her and wanted to tell her that TC did this to him, but he just couldn’t bring himself to do it.

“I don’t remember much.” He lied.

“Ok.” She said softly.

“How long have I been here?”

“Three weeks.”

“That long huh?” he smirked playfully.

“You jerk, now is not the time to be fooling around.” Eve was pissed.

“Sorry.” He said. He felt bad; he didn’t want to make her upset.

“So… would you like me to get anything for you?”

“I’m fine.” He said then paused and looked at her straight in the eyes. “On second thought…”

“Yes…”

“I want you to get me the hell out of here!”

“What?!” Eve shouted. She was clearly startled by his request.

“You heard me.” Julian said narrowing his eyes on her.

“No, absolutely not!” she shrieked.

“Fine, if you won’t help me then I’ll do it on my own.” He scoffed. He then grimaced a little as he struggled to sit up on the bed.

“Are you crazy?! Julian please, lie back…mmph..” That was all she got out as Julian clamped his hand over her mouth to keep her quiet.

Outside in the hall a little ways from his room, Ivy and Daniel quietly talked as they made their way towards his room.

“I’m really worried about him Danny. Did you see the way his face looked the other day?” Ivy said as she covered her mouth to stop herself from sobbing out loud.

“Julian’s a fighter, he’ll pull right through this.”

“I hope so.”

“I know…he…will…” Daniel stopped dead in his tracks as he got to Julian’s room.

“Danny what is it?” Ivy asked as she walked pass him and saw for herself. “Oh my god…”

Eve was holding onto Julian’s waist tight, as he sped down the highway on one of the emergency motorcycles from the hospital. She shook her head a bit. She still couldn’t believe that he would do something like this, so soon after just waking up! After driving for what seemed like hours, Julian brought the bike to a halt, then took Eve by the hand and pulled her along with him until they reached this cliff that had the best view of the sun setting.

“Julian, I can’t believe we just did that. I’m a doctor for crying out loud. What was I thinking letting you…” But she never got to finish as Julian crushed his lips to hers in a mind-blowing kiss.

Eve’s head was spinning as she felt Julian lick her bottom lip for entrance. She opened up for him willingly and let his tongue explore every crevice of her mouth. Then as soon as it happened, he pulled back and started trailing kisses down her neck, all the way to her collarbone before coming back up and claiming her lips once more, this time in an earth-shattering kiss that made her go weak in the knees. The way that he was kissing her and making her feel right this moment was so overwhelming, she didn’t want him to stop, but they couldn’t do this right now. So with whatever strength she found deep within her, she pulled back from him and looked him in the face.

“Julian we can’t…” Eve said as she turned her back to him, but Julian wasn’t going to have that. Just because he was out cold for three weeks, didn’t mean that he couldn’t feel her need to go through with this.

“Eve, don’t do this. I know you want me, just like I want you.” Julian said softly to her as he walked up behind her and pulled her back against his body. “Tell me you want me Eve?” he whispered in her ear and then bent his head down and placed soft kisses down her neck and shoulder.

“Julian I can’t, please stop?” She sobbed and started trembling in his arms. Julian stopped just like she asked him to and just held her close to his body.

“You didn’t tell TC to stop the night of the fire did you?” Julian blurted out.

Eve pulled away from his body and looked at him like he was crazy. “What are you talking about?”

“The night of the fire, you slept with him!”

“I didn’t sleep with TC!” She shrieked.

“You don’t have to lie to me Eve, he told me everything!”

“Well then you’re a fool to believe him.” She scoffed then socked him in the arm.

Julian grimaced in pain as the punch Eve gave him hurt like hell. Eve looked at him and then rolled her eyes.

“What was that for?!” he shouted.

“That was for what you said. Besides, you deserved it!” she sneered.

Julian then walked back up to her and cautiously pulled her back to his body.

“I’m sorry Eve. Please forgive me…” he whispered as he rested his head on her shoulder.

Eve nodded slowly.

“I think it’s time we go back. Your friends are probably worried about you.”

“Alright.”

Ivy and Daniel couldn’t believe that Julian would just up and leave like that. He was seriously hurt! And Ivy knowing Julian so well, guessed that he probably forced Eve to go with him too. They were just walking off of the elevator when she saw TC walking towards them with flowers in his hand.

“What are you doing here?” Ivy scoffed at him.

“Ivy?!” Daniel was blown back when he heard what Ivy said to TC.

“What’s wrong with you, got PMS or somethin’? Besides I’m here to see Julian.” TC said.

“You bastard… I know it was you who did this to him.”

“Now why would you say something like that for? You can’t prove anything.”

“Maybe not, but deep down in my gut, I know it was you.” Ivy spat at him, and then looked over his shoulder when a bright light flashed in her face. She then walked pass him and went outside to see if it was Julian.

TC noticed the light too, and decided to follow Ivy outside as well. And what he found made his blood boil. Julian had just pulled up with Eve, whose arms were wrapped tightly around his body, as he cut off the engine to the motorcycle. Slowly, Eve helped him get off the bike, then looked up ahead and saw TC standing there watching the two of them.

“Eve, what’s going on here?” TC said as he walked up towards the two of them.

Julian didn’t like TC that close to Eve, so he walked up and placed himself between the two of them.

“Nothing. We were just talking about my accident.” Julian stated.

“I didn’t ask you, I asked her!” TC shouted as his jaw tightened in anger.

“Well that’s too damn bad!” Julian shouted back.

“You bastard, I warned you to stay away from her!” TC shouted again.

Julian saw that TC going to attack him again, pushed Eve out of the way as TC fist connected with his face, knocking him to the ground. Eve was a bit startled when Julian pushed her, but then she saw why he did it. TC had Julian by the front of his shirt, punching him in the stomach repeatedly before Julian drew back and punched TC in the face. Julian then dropped down to his knees as TC stumbled back. Eve saw that Julian was in a lot of pain, and began running over to him just as TC’s fist connected with her face.

“Oh my god!” TC shouted then looked down at Eve with disbelief written all over his face.

“I know you didn’t just hit her you sonofab*tch?! I’ll kill you!” Julian was fuming now, as all he saw was red. He wasn’t about to let TC get away with what he just did to Eve.

“Julian please don’t!” Eve shouted as she wiped the blood coming from her mouth away.

“He won’t get away with this Eve!” Julian shouted again, but this time Eve stood up and blocked his way.

“Just stop it both of you!” She shouted again. “I thought that you both would have grown up by now, but I guess I was wrong. This fighting is childish and ridiculous!”

Julian and TC both dropped their heads down in shame as the words Eve spoke rang true.

“I’m just tired of all this. That’s why I turned my life around for the better, gave up singing and I’m happy just with the way things are for me now.”

“Don’t lie to yourself. You gave up!”

“You bastard!” TC spat.

“I know you’re still hurting and I know you’re not happy just being a doctor.”

“How can you say that to her?!”

“Life without pain has no meaning.” Julian said as he stared TC straight in the eye.

“And how do you know that?”

“Because I know the truth about what really happened back then… and the truth hurts!” Julian shouted then walked back to the motorcycle and took off. That just left TC, Eve, Ivy and Daniel.

“I’m so sorry Eve, let me take you home?” TC said to her as he placed his hands on her shoulders.

“No, I want to be alone.” Eve mumbled. As she turned and went to walk away, Ivy started shouting things at her.

“How could you hurt him like that?! Don’t you see that you’re tearing him up inside?! You should be ashamed of yourself!” Ivy shouted then turned her head the other way.

“Ivy…” Daniel whispered.
