Meanwhile, Julian was also in his office thinking about how the choices he made leading him into the situations he was in now.

"Oh, Eve, after I let father bully me into not holding onto you, my life hasn't been the same. I've never been able to stand up to my father, TC, I was stuck with Icy Ivy for over 20 years, Ethan turned out not to be my son, then when I was finally free from Ivy I wanted to play the feild again, and ended up in that sham of a marraige with Terrorcita. I couldn't stand Ivy, so during our marraige I had an affair with any woman who would give me the time of day." Julian flashed back to his costume sex games with Suzanne the maid, and remembered Ivy firing Suzanne. He flashed back to Ivy trying to fake him out with a gun that had blanks in it when she found him in bed with other women. Even though he had moved on with Rebecca, no one could ever come close to taking Eve's place in his heart. Julian flashed back to his happy times with Eve, making love to Eve, finding out she could possibly be pregnant with his child, avoiding getting caught with her by TC.
 
"Eve, not being able to stand up to my father caused me to loose you." Julian felt guilty about having to make love to Eve with both of them knowing it was his honeymoon night with another woman. "If I just would have stood up to my father I wouldn't have had to hurt you again by still having to keep my feelings for you a secret." Julian said. He felt awful about having to keep the fact that they made love a secret and that the truth could never come out that it might be his baby, now Liz was as mad as hell and had left Harmony, but he knew that Liz wasn't gone for good, he wasn't stupid. Julian also knew that Rebecca would hate him if she found out what happened on the honeymoon when she had left the room, especially if she was to find out about Tabitha Lennox. He was keeping his relationship with Eve a secret to protect her, but leading Rebecca on and letting her think their relationship was more than it was, he knew Rebecca would be mad as hell at him for leading her on. Now Tabitha Lennox was also a problem, he knew the whole town would be chasing him with guns again.
 

 
Meanwhile, Fox arrived at the Lopez-Fitzgerald house. Pilar had told him that Theresa was in her room, so Fox knocked on the door.

"Come in," Theresa said.

"It's Fox," Fox said. Theresa opened the door.

"Fox, come in." Theresa said.
 
"Can I talk to you about something?" Fox asked.

"Is it about this secret love?" Theresa asked. Fox nodded. Theresa and Fox sat down on the bed. Theresa realized that she had forgotten to save her wedding porftolio she had made in high school of her wedding to Ethan.
 
"What's this?" Fox asked.

"Just one of the few things that we managed to save when our old house caught on fire." Theresa said. Fox looked through it.
 
"Oh my God, you really were stalking Ethan like Gwen said." Fox said.

"I've always loved Ethan," Theresa said. Fox looked at a date that was scribbled into the notebook.
 
"Theresa, this is from early 1999, before you had even met the Cranes or Ethan and Gwen." Fox said. "I might not have been in Harmony, but we Cranes have our ways of knowing everything that goes on in the mansion." Fox said.
 
"Fox, Gwen and her baby might be an obstacle now, but fate will make sure that Ethan and I get back together. Chad and Whitney's obstacle was Simone, now they're together, and I'm sure you'll get past the obstacle keeping you from being with the woman you love."
 
"Theresa, as much as I hate to burst your bubble, you are one of my valued friends, but going by this portfolio, you are not in love with Ethan." Fox said. Theresa's lip quivered and her face scrunched. Tears swelled in her eyes.
 
"Fox, I've always loved Ethan." Theresa said.
 
"Theresa, you are obsessed with Ethan. Hey what's this?" Fox said. A magazine had fallen out. Fox looked at the date which was also dated before Theresa had came into the Cranes lives. He had flipped through it until he found a picture of Ethan and Gwen, Gwen's face was mutilated with a permanent marker. "Theresa, this is not love, it's obsession." Fox said. If Theresa was this obsessed with going after another woman's man she hadn't even met yet, he didn't trust her. "Theresa, what else have you lied to me about?" Fox asked. Theresa's lip quivered.
 
"But- but Fox!" Theresa said. "Fate will make sure all the right couples end up together, you and your mystery woman, Chad and Whitney, Miguel and Charity, Luis and Sheridan, mama and papa- TC and Dr. Russell, sadly Julian and Rebecca are already together but they deserve each other because they're the lowlife scum of Harmony-"

"Theresa, I'm sorry but your concept of love is laughable. Couples have obstacles but fate is not responsible for everything that happens in a relationship!" Fox said. "As your friend, I have to tell you that if you don't drop the fate stuff it is really going to blow up in your face and cost you everything some day." Fox said. Fox left.
