Julian and Rebecca had finally been allowed to take
Miranda home from the hospital.
Rebecca tried to calm down a fussing Miranda after
Julian let out a scream of excruciating pain from
the hallway.

"Julian, you're scaring the baby," Rebecca said.
"Owwwwwww." Julian moaned in pain after he smashed
his hand with the hammer again.

"Are you sure you don't want to order one of those
cribs that's already put together?" Rebecca asked.

"No, I'm fine," Julian said.

"No, you're not, look at yourself, you're going to
be all black and blue by the time you're finished."
Rebecca said. Julian was starting to look like he
had lost a wrestling match with a weed whacker.

"The manufacturer should have thought of that before
they wrote the instructions in Japanese!" Julian
said. Rebecca looked through the instructions.

"Pookey," Rebecca said, pointing out the english
version of the instructions. Julian laughed at himself
in embarrassment. Rebecca had tried her best to cut
him some slack since she knew that Ivy had barely
let him get involved at all, and Theresa- that was
a complete disaster, Luis and Antonio had beat up
her poor pookey every time he tried to go near little
Ethan. "You know, pookey, why don't you take a
break, you just have to see this totally cute
outfit I just put Miranda in," Rebecca said. Julian
couldn't help but laugh.

"Becks, how may outfits have you had Miranda in
since we bought her home?" Julian asked.

"She is a baby, she's going to outgrow half of them
before she has a chance to get to wear them
anyways," Rebecca said. Rebecca was glad that she had
left Miranda with Phyliss for a few minutes, since
Rebecca and Julian had landed in a heap on top of
each other when they tripped over one of the peices
for the crib.

"I think a break would definitely be good," Julian
said.

"You have to see how cute this outfit is," Rebecca
said. Julian suddenly got a strange look on his face.

"What's that smell?" Julian asked. Rebecca smirked.

"Welcome to parenting 101," Rebecca said.

"You mean I-have-to-" Julian said in dread. Rebecca
smirked. She laughed at Julian's reaction as Julian
attempted to change a diaper.

"Pookey, it's on backwards-" Rebecca said. Julian
had to start all over again.

"I think I got it this time," Julian said.

"It's actually on right this time," Rebecca said. A
few seconds later, Julian covered his ears when
Miranda let out an ear peircing cry. Julian picked her
up to try to get her to stop crying, but with no use.
When he handed her to Rebecca, she stopped crying, but
when Rebecca handed her to Julian again, she started
crying again. Rebecca couldn't help but feel sorry for poor Julian,
first he was hurting himself building the crib, now he just
wasn't having much luck with Miranda.

Reese had gotten back to his apartment that night, and
there was an important message from Alastair Crane!
Alastair had overheard that Reese knew that he was
his father from one of his many secret cameras around
Harmony, and had offered him a job at Crane Industries!

"Wait until the gang hears about this!" Reese said.
His friends would certainly be impressed that he
came back for a visit from college only to find out
that he was a millionare- no, a billionare- maybe
with his smarts he could change that to trillionare!
