Chapter 4

Fox, Gwen, and Ethan enjoying a late breakfast when Theresa made her way to the kitchen. She ignored Fox as she poured herself some orange juice and settled down in a corner of the kitchen, watching Ethan holding Andrea with longing in her eyes. Gwen was asking Fox's advice on colors for Ethan's study when Ivy entered the room. She greeted Gwen and Fox happily, gave Ethan and Andrea kisses on their heads, and frowned at Theresa before grabbing a bagel and disapeared to her study. She still walked with a bit of a limp from the accident, but it was hardly noticable unless she was in a hurry. Fox smiled inwardly as he watched her leave the room. She was in for one big surprise this morning.

Ivy sat at her desk, trying to decide what she could do to keep herself busy that day. Ever since Theresa had taken over all the decorating and supervising of the place, Ivy was having a hard time coming up with things to keep herself from being bored. She was looking around her desk when she noticed the videotape sitting on one corner bearing her name. Curious, she popped it into the large screen television near her desk. Instantly, she was greeted with the image of Theresa and Fox in bed together. She was horrified! That little slut had not only had the entire Crane fortune at her disposal, she had nearly succeeded in ruining her oldest son and since that didn't appear to be working, she had obviously gone for the second one. Ivy watched the tape, fuming. Just as she decided she'd had enough and was going to tuen it off, she saw Fox wink at the camera. Shocked, she sat there completely confused. Then it hit her, Fox had planned the whole thing. A smile spread over her face. What a clever son she had. Happily, she ejected the video and grabbed her keys. She was off to make copies. The little tramp was going down!
