Eve yawned as she crawled out of her bed. A new day, maybe even a new beginning she thought to herself as she looked in the mirror. Julian had changed everything the night before, just listening to what he had to say made her rethink her anger toward him. He had saved her and her son from his father, and though leaving them seemed cowardly, perhaps it was the only thing for him to do.
She walked to her closet and got out her favorite red dress, after a long shower she would slip into it and go find Chad. Just looking at her son would help her understand things better.
Slipping into the shower she turned the water on and let the hot water flow over her. Her mind was whirling, Julian’s actions, Chad’s love, it was so apparent Chad was Julian’s child, she watched him with Theresa, his love for her reminded Eve of Julian’s love, but that was in the past.
She needed to forgive Julian, let go of the bitter past and make a new life. But how could she do that? The past stung her each time she thought of the life she could have had, no she should have had that life!
But then she wouldn’t have her girls, or the years she spent with T.C.. T.C., the man that had helped change her, his love for her made her believe in herself again. They had shared a life and home together, raised to beautiful girls together. But he was gone. It was all gone. Chad was still there though. Her son was in her life and that mattered. It gave her some sort of hope. If she had enough faith maybe she could get it all back, her girls and her son, a life with the children she loved. But would the girls ever understand her past? The love she once felt for Julian? How could they? No one in the world knew Julian like she did. She knew the real man, she saw him pain and his happiness. She knew because she had once shared it all with him.

"Where do you want to live Eve dear?" Julian grinned kissing her cheek.
"It doesn’t matter." She smiled. "I’ll be with you and our baby, that’s all that matters."
"Eve, tell me where do you want to raise are family? What type of house?"
"A small house, Julian." She laughed. "A small house with a big yard for our child to play in. And a dog, I want a dog, no a cat. Wait! I want them both." She laughed hugging him.
"And you shall have it."
"Can we have a Picket Fence? You know like the ones in the movies? I want on of those too. Oh and we’ll need a swing set. " She finished her eyes bright.
"That I can do."
"I just can’t wait." Eve laughed.

Eve shook her head and wiped tears as she stepped out of her shower. "I’m still waiting Julian." She said bitterly. "I’m still waiting on my perfect life!"

Jasolyn Crane let a wicked smile play on her lips.
Soon.
Soon it would all come into play.
Taking out her lipstick from her purse she applied it and laughed. "This is going to be so much fun." She said looking at her father’s house. "Father won’t know what hit him. And neither will the rest of these losers." She growled under her breath. Picking up her phone she dialed a number and smiled.
"Did you get that information I asked for?" She questioned as a man answered. "No? Why not? I want it now! Do you understand me? I need that information on Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald today!
Tomorrow isn’t good enough! Today do you understand me? Good!" She said hanging up the phone.
Rolling her eyes she frowned. "Am I going to have to do everything myself?" She whined. "I really wanted to go to the spa today."
"Not today Sis." A voice sounded behind Jasolyn. Turning around a crooked smile fell on her face.
"Ericka, how wonderful to see you." Jasolyn said then rolled her eyes. "Now why are you here?"
Ericka smiled. "I’m here to see my brother, and to make sure you don’t hurt daddy."
"Daddy? How sweet Ricki, you really think he cares about us? He has his son now sweetie, so you can go back to school."
Ericka shook her head. "Actually daddy called me and told me to come home. Our brother’s getting married soon, and he wants me to get to know him better."
Jasolyn frowned. "Fine! But stay out of my way!"
"Knowing what you’re up to Jas? I’m going to become your shadow.
Jasolyn sighed. "I already have one little twit following me around."
Ericka Crane chuckled. "So you’ve met my friend Lori? She’s a riot isn’t she?" Ericka giggled.

Eve stepped into her dress and looked into the mirror. "Another day of work and worry." She frowned as her door bell rang.
"Please don’t be Julian." She sighed. "Not right now."
Walking to her door she took a deep breath as she opened the door. Blinking her eyes her mouth fell open.
"Eve, I’m glad your here."
She felt a lump in her throat as she spoke. "T.C. what are you doing here?" She gasped looking at her former husband.
"The better question would be, What are you doing with Julian Crane?" T.C. suddenly yelled.
