Simone's Revenge ~ Chapter 6, Part 1: the Beach Party
by rockstar

Hey everyone! Sorry it's taken so long, but school has been a real pain. Anyway, I added some new characters of my own in this chapter. There's Sean (Zander, General Hospital), Valerie (Faith, Buffy/Angel), Jill (Daphne, Spyder Games), and Kelly (Allison, Port Charles). Also, I just realized that Ty looks a lot like Jamal from PC, so if you want to use his face for Ty, go ahead, I think I will from now on. So I hope you enjoy.

Simone and Kay walked around the packed beach right on along the ocean and under the clear starry night.
"Thanks for coming with me to this party, Kay."
"Yeah, yeah," Kay responded with little enthusiasm, "although I would much rather be back at Tabitha's sticking close to Miguel and Charity."
"Is that what you were doing last night at the movies?"
"Yeah, but then Reese showed up and I got stuck with him."
"Sorry, girl, but you get what you deserve for trying to break up Charity and Miguel."
"What about you, Ms. Man-stealer?" Kay shot back.
"Whitney stole him first."
"I thought we established that you never had him in the first place so..."
"Ya know, Kay, why don't we go see what they have to drink? Hmm?" Simone interrupted her obviously irritated by Kay's opinion.
"Fine." Kay said as the two walked through the crowd of their classmates dancing. Once they got some drinks, Kay decided to open her mouth once more.
"So, why are you at this party anyway? Is this part of your plot to get Chad to fall in love with you? Cause I think it would work a lot better if you were with him."
"I'm not going to hover Chad. It'll turn him off. Besides I think I'm going to stop by the Book Cafe after we leave the party and catch him before he closes."
"Really? And when's that going to be? Ten minutes? Fifteen?" Kay asked anxiously.
"Come on Kay, if I can go one night without Chad you can go one without Miguel."
"Well, Miguel's with Little Ms. Charity. Chad isn't with Whitney is he?" quickly thinking, "Or she could stop by the Book Cafe to see him before you get to. You know, I think we should go check."
"Hold it. There's no way Whitney will go to see Chad. She has a tennis match tomorrow morning and plus I have her so freaked out about dating and guys by my wonderful speech I gave her yesterday."
Kay remembered the speech Simone was speaking of as the one she had told her in the park earlier that day.
"You know that can do one of two things. Either it'll go your way and she'll keep backing away from Chad or she'll start listening to her heart instead of her head and say 'Screw my little sister I want that man and he wants me' and go running to him."
"Well, I know she will be staying away from him. And if she shows any signs of going back to him, I'll just remind her of how happy her little sister is with her boyfriend and how it could've all been taken away that night I was hit by that car." Simone said with sarcastic compassion.
"Your using the 'poor, innocent little sister got hit by a car because she saw you getting hot and heavy with her non-man' card again? You can only use that so many times, Simone."
"I received a lifetime supply the day that lying bitch betrayed me."

"Hey, Ty man are you listening?" Sean asked waving a hand in front of his friends face.
"Huh? Oh yeah, what did you say?" Ty said confused.
The rest of his friends just laughed as Ty joined in realizing he had missed a lot of the conversation.
He had been hanging out with the same group of people that he did when he was a toddler. Sean, Valerie, and Jill were his oldest friends who he met in day care when he was 4. Valerie and Sean were best friends when they were kids then as soon as they hit puberty it seemed they were automatically attracted to one another. Sean was Ty's partner in crime and basically the person Ty would call if he landed in jail. Valerie was the one Sean would then call to break him out of jail. And Jill was the smarty of the group. No group is complete without one. She was the one Ty would call if he wanted someone to pay to get him out of jail.
"Boy what is on your mind?" Valerie asked.
"Nothing, I guess I'm just starting to realize that Jill's really leaving us for some hotshot school in Minnesota." he said putting an arm around her.
"We still have a couple weeks before I go."
"Yeah, as long as you don't spend the entire time staring at other women." Sean said staring at Ty.
"What are you talking about?" Ty said, playing dumb.
"Don't play dumb with me, I saw you checking out that Russell girl. I don't blame ya, she looks a lot like her sister, gorgeous head to toe." Sean said only to receive Valerie's elbow in his stomach.
"Look at me, Jill, am I here? Can you see me? I don't think I have any problem hearing. So why is he talking about how gorgeous other girls are right in front of me?" the feisty girl said waving her hands around.
"You know, I'm right here." Sean said hold his stomach. "You could talk to me."
"Well, when you stop talking about other girls in front of me, then I'll stop talking about you in front of you!" she shot back.
"Okay, okay, you two. Geez, save it for your 50th wedding anniversary." Jill spoke up.
"Thank you." Ty said, holding his head. He turned back around and saw Simone talking to Kay. Suddenly he heard his name being yelled from across the group of people in an annoying and familiar voice. 'Oh god' he thought when he turned his head to the left to see a bubbly blonde hopping towards him. He quickly turned around to his friends trying to make his presence unknown. "You know guys, I gotta head out. But I'll give you all a call tomorrow. See ya."
Valerie, Sean, and Jill could only laugh when Ty turned around just to see the girl standing in front of him.
"Hi Ty! Oh my gosh! I heard today was, like, your last day of community service. I'm, like, so glad you're not a criminal anymore!" she said with all the enthusiasm her cheerleader curved body could shout out.
"Hey, Kelly." Ty said with not near as much enthusiasm.
"So, what are doing tonight? I mean besides being at this party. I mean cause, like, it's obvious you're already here!" she giggled.
"Yeah, umm," Ty looked back at this friends for help but unfortunately only got three very entertained faces. Ty had known since the first day of freshman year that cheerleader Kelly Morris had a crush on him, though he told her he wasn't interested, and even though they had both dated different people, the crush lasted all through high school. She was the typical head cheerleader type. Preppy, blonde, continuous use of the word 'like', and complete cheerfulness all the time. In other words, she was in no way Ty's type. Nor would she ever be.
"Umm, listen, Kelly, I gotta head out. So maybe I see ya later." he said politely, 'but not if I have anything to say about it' Ty then thought to himself.
"Oh but wait, you haven't danced with me yet." she said grabbing his arm and trying with all her might to pull him into the dancing crowd, but likely Ty was a lot stronger than her and he wasn't budging. He had tried many times to make her see that there was nothing going on between them, but she just wouldn't hear it. Ty wasn't looking to hurt her feelings, but he wasn't going to lead her on either. And there were some things that he would just not do and that's dance with her, as innocent as dancing may be, he wouldn't take the chance of her getting a good grip of him, because chances are she wouldn't let go.
"Kelly, I'm not dancing with you, okay." Ty said break his hand free.
"Oh so do you want to go someplace else, more private?" she said seductively running her index finger down the center of his chest. In a blink of an eye, this clueless cheerleader has turned into sexy seductress, though they both wanted the same thing, Ty, they tried getting him two completely different ways.
"No, listen to me," Ty said firmly and irritated taking ahold of her hand from his chest. "You need to stop all this, okay? All your doing is embarrassing yourself. You know, I don't know why you think you have be wanted by every guy in school."
"I don't want every guy in school, I want you."
"You're not getting me."
"I can change your mind." she said moving to put her hands back on his chest until he grabbed them.
"No, you can't. Listen, this has been going on for over four years. We've just graduated from high school. We still have our entire lives to live. And pushing yourself on people who don't want you, will only hurt you. Cause there are some guys who wouldn't turn their back on some of the offers you've given me."
"Are you gay?"
"No, I'm sensitive. Which may be worse."
"We couldn't just have one hot night?" Kelly said bringing her hands alive again.
"No," Ty said, practically reading her mind and taking a step back to avoid her hands. "that wouldn't be fair to you."
Hearing one of her fellow cheerleaders calling her name, Kelly started to turn to leave, but stopped.
"Thanks, Ty." she said, giving him a slight smile, "I guess I'll see you at the 10 year reunion."
"You might want to make that 20. I'm predicting at least a 16 year prison sentence."
"Bye," she said before turning around and skipping off.
"I think the jury hears about this, you might make it to the first reunion after all." Jill said, with Sean and Valerie next to her.
"I forgot you guys were there." Ty said.
"Well, what are friends for?" Sean said, slapping Ty's arm.
"Apparently to blend into the background." Valerie said sarcastically.
"I never thought I'd see the day when bad-boy Ty Ellis turned into Mr. Sensitive." A female voice said from behind the group. Ty turned around to see the two women he had seen earlier.
"Simone!" Ty said, sounding just a bit too happy to see her. 'calm down, man. Just play it cool.'
"Well, don't sound too surprised, I'm mean I think I just watched Kelly Morris turn into an adult. I mean, personally, I think that's a bigger shock."
"Hey Kay." Jill said, with Sean and Valerie giving their silent greeting.
"Hey guys." Kay said back.
"So how's your crew?" Sean said, "I haven't really seen Miguel around since our basketball season was over."
"We're all good. You did really good this season."
"See, baby, I told you you'd get it. And it only took ya four years." Valerie said as her sarcastic self.
"Ha, ha." Sean said.
"You know, guys, this is going to be my last party with all of my people from good 'ole Harmony High." Jill said catching everyone's attention.
"My girls right. We gotta do this right." Valerie said, "Let's dance. Come on. See ya'll later."
Sean, Valerie, and Jill headed to the dancing crowd leaving Ty, Simone, and Kay.
'I wonder what Miguel and Charity are doing.' Kay thought to herself as Ty and Simone started making small talk about something Kay didn't have much interest in. 'I certainly can't see them making out on Tabitha's couch, eww, I just did. No, Charity's probably in the kitchen making a quiche for Miguel, while he gets lost looking into her eyes. Just like Ty is with Simone.' Kay blinked a few times until she realized she was conscious again and what was happening infront of her was. 'Ty likes Simone? This is just what I need to get away from this party and back to Miguel and Charity.'
"You know, Simone, it's getting kind of late, so I think I'm gonna head back to Tabby's." Kay said, not bothering to wait until Simone was finished with her sentence to Ty.
"Now?" Simone said.
"Yeah, my Mom really freaks if I'm out too late."
"And you're such a saint Kay." Ty joked.
"Hey, you're the only who convinced me it was for the best of the school if we boycotted sophomore finals." Kay recalled.
"It was!" Ty defended himself.
"I'll call you tomorrow, Kay." Simone said giving Kay a hug.
"Not if I pick up the phone first. See ya, Ty."
"Bye," Ty said as Kay turned and made her way through the crowd. 'Finally!' Ty thought.
"So, Simone, you want to take a walk? Just down the beach, under the lighthouse."
"Sure," Simone said without hesitation and the two started their steps away from the laughing group of teens dancing to the blaring music.
